I design and make costume for theatre and opera — where a production’s direction and design tell the story, and the actor becomes their character. All the way from Texas to the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London, I’m now in my second year of BA Production Arts (Costume).

Costume is where storytelling and embodiment meet. I work with the direction and design so the clothes carry the story, and with the performer so a costume becomes a character they can live inside. Marrying the two — the show’s vision and the actor’s role — is the whole of the work.
